Mission:

Our mission is to bring great music right to your doorstep.  We perform in parks, beaches, churches, schools, and even in homes!

Though we are based in San Pedro, we perform all over Southern California. We sing for weddings, parties, conferences, and all kinds of events.

Our philosophy is “glocal,” meaning that we wish to serve the local community of San Pedro, CA while allowing our music to have a global impact.   Partnering with established non-profit organizations, we support international service projects. In this way, we hope that San Pedro Opera can make a difference, both at home and around the world.

We especially want to foster the development of large and dramatic voices. Dramatic singers have fewer opportunities to gain performance experience with small regional companies. SPO hopes to partially fill that gap by giving  artists the chance to perform dramatic repertoire in large spaces, and even outside.  It’s time to sing!
